behind every great dish is a team of people making it happen. at our central production unit in acton, we produce the sauces and gyoza that help bring wagamama to life across our restaurants.

we're looking for a junior engineer to join our engineering team.

we're not looking for someone who knows everything. we're looking for someone with the right foundations and the ambition to develop.

what we're looking for |

• a sound foundation in practical electrical and mechanical engineering
• some hands-on experience in maintenance, fault finding or equipment repairs
• a genuine interest in machinery and how things work
• someone reliable, proactive and comfortable getting involved
• a positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work as part of a small team

experience in food manufacturing would be an advantage, but it's not essential.

what you'll be doing |

• supporting the maintenance and repair of food production equipment
• assisting with planned preventative maintenance and breakdowns
• developing your electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• helping maintain high standards of food safety, health and safety
• working alongside experienced engineers to keep our operation running smoothly

whether your background is primarily mechanical or electrical, we're interested in someone with strong practical foundations who wants to broaden their knowledge and become a confident, multi-skilled engineer.
