there's space for everyone on our benches, but we never want to sit still when it comes to inclusion. that's why we've got a dedicated squad of true inclusion allies, made up of a diverse group from all over the country. these allies are there to help acivate our diversity, equality and inclusion iniatives nationally and in their local regions, empowering others and creating a sense of belonging so everyone feels included and a part of one, unified team

our communal benches aren’t a space saving hack. in fact they’re a real reflection of the way we look at things, people from all walks of life entering our restaurants and sitting side by side, enjoying a meal and a moment together. we take that same view when it comes to our teams, and we work hard to create a business where teams from all different backgrounds + lived experiences can come together and feel safe and heard. whether that’s people from different countries, people who identify as lgbtqia+, or people with neurodivergence. you’ll be made very welcome here

at wagamama, we’re not just proud during pride season. we’re proud everyday, and we’re passionate about creating safe spaces where people feel free to show up as their true selves. of course, we still love to get involved with pride events in the summer, and we encourage our teams to do so too. we also work extensively with a number of lgbtqia+ charities so we can give back in meaningful ways throughout the year

we can’t keep things fresh without fresh perspectives, and so we welcome unique minds at wagamama. we’ve partnered with the witherslack group and do training with the adhd foundation, and we’re on a journey to make sure that neurodiversity is considered at all stages of our recruitment process, and that we are always doing our best to show up fo our neurodivergent team members

a simple conversation can make a real difference. that’s why we’ve partnered with shout, a free, confidential 24.7 text service for anyone in the uk who needs someone to talk to. together, we support wellbeing across our teams, while raising funds through charity events to help shout reach even more people. text SHOUT to 85258 to speak to a trained volunteer
foodcycle
foodcycle are working towards making sure that nobody is hungry, or lonely, and their community kitchens provide connection and food for those who need it. we regularly support at foodcycle, through cooking and looking after their guests
treloars
unlocking potential starts with the right support. that’s why we’ve partnered with treloar’s, a specialist school and college empowering young people with complex disabilities to thrive. together, we support true inclusion + opportunity through work experience
we also support at a local level, enabling our restaurants to give back to the communities they’re part of
